Are You in District 6?

District 6 did not exist before this summer. Act 950 of 2026 divided East Baton Rouge Parish into six Justice of the Peace districts for the first time, and every seat is on the ballot from the new lines.

The district runs from the river at downtown, southeast through Mid City and the LSU area, and out the Highland–Perkins–Bluebonnet corridor to the southern parish line. All 62 precincts are in East Baton Rouge Parish.
